I'm arguing with my friend, Dan, about this Nicholas Sparks novel.

D: well the book doesn't definitely tell jamie died

You guys, Jamie died, yes? It was sort of implied in the novel. It wasn't directly stated that she died. My friend insists that she did not, because of last line: miracles do happen. In the movie, the miracle was Landon. It seems to me that Jamie really died, because in the last paragraph of the novel, Landon said something about the wedding ring and how he never removed it.
She effing died, right?
